09:00 – 10:00  Breakfast at the residence and small writing workshop
10:00 – 10:45 Go to Hagia Sofia Museum
10:45 – 11:45 Visit Museum
11:45 – 12:45 Visit the underground Cistern and if there is time the Mosaics Museum
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch at a restaurant in the area, Turkish specialties everyone can eat.
14:00 – 16:00 Writing and Sharing at the Writer's Cafe in the area. Jale Sancak, a well published Turkish writer who runs workshops, seminars and other activities in the area will be visiting us and you can share your experiences with her and listen to her Istanbul. Topkapı Palace is just a hop skip and a jump away. Anyone who would prefer to visit the palace is free to do so until 4 p.m. when it shuts down for the day.
16:30 – 18:00 Carpet Shop visit. Oktay Başpınar is Sheila's friend. He will welcome us to one of his shops in the area to experience the Turkish Carpet... If you don't want to join us, one of us can be your guide back to the residence or you can wander around the area some more. 
18:00 – 19:00 Back to the residence. You are free to eat on the way or take something back to your hotel. 
19:30 - 20:30 Galatasary Hamam (Bath House). This is optional.
